Absolutely stunning views. Their website raves about their garden which I assumed was just filler. It was not. It’s incredible. The staff was great, even adjusting to our vegetarian needs on the fly (during dinner). Do yourself a favor and plan an extra day here to just slow down and enjoy nature.

Aretusa Vacanze is located in a completely renovated 17th-century building at the centre of Syracuse's Ortygia Island. It offers self-catering rooms. Amazing hotel in the heart of old town! We arrived early and Stefano made everything possible to comfort us from the first step in his property. Early check in, explanation of all surrounding sightseeing spots, recommendation of his fav. restaurants. Just overall it felt as arriving to a family or friends home!
