A pleasant, comfortable hotel with an excellent location. The staff and management are super friendly and on the guest side. They solved my problem caused by Air France and did not charge anything extra. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The best English breakfast ever. Easy, quick access to the centre of Newcastle. My wife has cancer and they went out of the way to assist us and make it a nice stay for her.

The Lemonfield Hotel is located on the seafront in Sunderland's Seaburn. Rooms include a TV, tea and coffee-making facilities and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a sea view. Room was small but very cost and warm. The only point is that the motorway is nearby, so you can hear the cars moving (in case of windows overlooking the seashore). But it is not a problem at all with the window closed. Rooms were cleaned every day, altogether with tea and coffee resupply. Good wi-fi and a small desk to work. And the most important, the seashore within the reach of your hand (not the 1st line, but it does not matter and I checked the map before booking)

Many good and convenience stores near by as well as the metro station. It’s a 5 minute walk to the hotel from the metro and it was easy to find.

The nightlife around Whitley Bay did not disappoint they've got some amazing Pubs/Clubs it was prime location for a good time for the next morning, we had a walk along the beach and it was delightful, nothing could compare to the fresh air coming in from the sea.
